Culinary Kaizen is a facilitation process embracing food as a metaphor. From whipping up rich ideas and resolving sticky situations to dealing with bitter setbacks and savoring sweet moments of success, this process peels back the layers of the most pressing issues facing business leaders today.
In addition to highlighting compelling content, food is fun. Food is engaging. Food levels the playing field and allows for the passionate reframing of virtually any discussion. Culinary Kaizen is a perfect process for transforming teams with GOOD taste into teams with GREAT taste.
Culinary Kaizen isn‘t version #631 of a reality cooking show. It also isn‘t anything remotely resembling a typical just-in-time, lean manufacturing “kaizen event.” While it can provide the same levels of dramatic improvement as typical kaizen events, it won‘t leave your team ducking for cover and scheduling last minute root canals to avoid the process.
The process is completely scalable and customized for each client. Depending on need, it can be scheduled for one, two or three days.
Day one typically consists of a “taster menu” chosen from the list of services. From communicating with emotional intelligence to managing time, energy and projects, the primary goals of day one sessions are to facilitate engagement, identify 800# gorillas and silos, reframe discussions and master basic competencies.
Day two activities are typically scheduled fifteen to thirty days after the completion of day one and allow for deeper digs into identified areas of need and customized coaching.
Day three is often scheduled at an off-site facility and allows for true hands-on opportunities to put the lessons of days one and two to the test in a professional culinary environment.
